Good to know

PDFmyWay questions, answered

A quick guide to private PDF editing in your browser.

Is PDFmyWay really free?

Yes. There is no account, subscription, trial limit, or paid download step. Choose a tool, work on your PDF, and save the result.

Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser reads and processes the files on your device. PDFmyWay has no upload server, document library, analytics tracker, or cloud storage.

Which PDF tools are included?

You can merge PDF files, split one PDF into several files, reorder pages, rotate pages, delete pages, extract selected pages, optimize PDF structure without lowering image quality, edit or remove hidden PDF metadata, protect a PDF with AES-256 encryption, and unlock a PDF when you know its password.

Will editing reduce the quality of my PDF?

PDFmyWay copies the original pages into the exported file. It does not intentionally compress images or lower their resolution. Page order, rotation, and selected metadata may change, depending on the tool you use.

Which PDF files and sizes are supported?

Files around 100 MB are a practical target. The actual limit depends on available memory, page complexity, your browser, and your device. If a PDF is password protected, PDFmyWay asks for its password and unlocks a temporary in-memory copy for your chosen tool.

What happens when I close the tab?

Your imported files and workspace changes disappear from PDFmyWay. Nothing is saved to cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, or an online account.
